The operator’s coastal-route announcement includes Airport and Malia, while its dated timetables also list departures from Heraklion Central Bus Station. These are different boarding references. Check the departure serving HER, the stop position and direction, and any timetable notes. If that departure cannot be boarded at the airport, plan a separate city-station connection instead of assuming one.
Name the hotel, not only Malia
A town stop, a beachfront property and the Malia archaeological site are different destinations. Send the hotel’s entrance pin and ask which public stop is useful, whether a road crossing is involved and how far the remaining walk is. Do not choose a bus solely because Malia appears on the destination board.
