Chania
Choose between the city, the Apokoronas countryside and the western coast. A village house can suit days around nearby villages; the harbour suits a different daily routine. Compare the complete drive to your chosen beaches, parking at the house and the last walk to shops. A Chania-area address does not place a villa beside the old town.

Compare an old-town stay with a coastal or inland house. Decide whether walking to dinner or having more outdoor space matters most. A hillside position can suit travellers who value a terrace view and plan to drive. Check the gradient, vehicle access, parking and steps to the house. Ask about neighbouring buildings and terrace orientation rather than assuming privacy or a sunset view.
Family Estates
Match bedrooms, beds and bathrooms to the people travelling. Discuss cots, stair gates, pool barriers, shade and the route between rooms with the host. Confirm each requested item and any extra charge; a family label does not establish child facilities or supervised care.
Honeymoon Retreats
Choose around the privacy, bedroom layout and daily routine you want as a couple. Ask whether the pool or terrace is shared, whether neighbouring rooms overlook it and which services are actually included.
